Information we handle
When you sign in with Google, we receive an account identifier, name, email address and profile image. We use necessary session cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account.
We keep Credit allocations, usage, generation task references, saved-work details and purchase or subscription records associated with your account. Support requests contain the information you choose to send; do not send passwords, API keys or payment card details.
Prompts, reference photos and editing
Selecting a photo in the editor does not upload it. When you submit a generation, the prompt and any reference photo are sent for that generation. Standard uses OpenAI and Premium Motion uses TTAPI. Their processing and retention rules apply to information sent to them; avoid submitting sensitive information or material you cannot lawfully share.
The GIF compressor, speed changer and frame editor process files on your device. Opening one of your saved works retrieves it from private storage. Browsing examples does not submit a generation or use Credits.
Why we use information
We use account information and submitted content to provide the tools you request, keep an accurate Credit balance, deliver creations and manage billing. We use security and technical records to prevent fraud, investigate failures and protect the service.
Where applicable, these purposes rely on performing our agreement with you, complying with legal obligations and legitimate interests in operating a secure service. Any processing that requires consent depends on your choice, which you may withdraw for future processing.
Service providers and international processing
Google provides sign-in, Neon PostgreSQL stores account and transaction records, and Cloudflare provides hosting, private R2 file storage and email services. OpenAI and TTAPI process generation requests for their respective modes. Waffo processes checkout information when payments are enabled; GIF Studio does not ask you to send full payment card details to support.
These providers may process information in countries outside your location. Applicable data protection requirements, contractual protections and provider terms govern those transfers. We do not sell your prompts, reference photos or account information. Private saved works are not published in the example gallery.
Retention and deletion
Account and session information is kept to operate your account. Credit and transaction records may be retained to reconcile balances, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Support correspondence is retained while the request is open and as needed to resolve related issues.
Free-account works have a three-day retention period and a 500 MB storage allowance. One-time purchase accounts have 5 GB, and their new works are retained for 30 days. Active subscribers have the capacity shown for their plan. Purchased Credits do not expire; saved files have separate limits.
A work’s retention is determined when generation starts. After a subscription expires, there is a 30-day read-only download buffer. Subscription downgrade cleanup requires a deletion warning delivered at least seven days earlier; when delivery is unconfirmed, cleanup is postponed. Download works you want to keep.
You may remove saved works through My Studio or request account deletion through support. Deletion from our systems does not independently erase records retained by a generation or payment provider under its own policies, or information we must retain by law.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary cookies support sign-in and account security. Optional analytics is not currently loaded by the site. If optional tracking is introduced, we will explain it and obtain consent where required.
Your rights and security
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of your personal information. Contact support@animatedgifgenerator.com; we may need information to verify your identity. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
We restrict private works to authenticated owners and use access controls and encrypted transport. No online service can guarantee complete security. Do not upload content that you are not comfortable submitting to the providers described above.
Updates
We update this notice when our service or data practices change. The effective date appears above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
